Brown Eyed Earth
Brown eyed earth
come peeping-
creeping, leaping
into furry form.
Thistles brushed
by splays of grass,
ruffled by the breeze;
and muscles move
our limbs.
Brown eyed earth
glisten
nurtured by a blink:
Animism's mirror
is made quite distinct.
