Janus by Anne Selden [Annab]

Janus

I don't know
which way
to twist time
which face
to follow...

Am I of
the East
ticking ticking ticking

sinewy and tight

Or of
the West
where
somehow hours
sputter
like a spurred
maverick
rearing

ready to run rushing
landscape
into dust.
