Vitality by Anne Selden [Annab]

Vitality

When does
the stellar stuff twinge
into sparkle?
The embryo
struck by light
absorbs reflects
shines.
An infant's limbs
twinkle.

Out of goop
the shapeless surge
splits over and over and over into
an individual
quickening.
