Sketch Inklings
Black buzzard drift
Stretch your stiff feathered span
And wobble wind bound...
Dip into a wide whirl
Neatly spiraling
Round.
Round like the clutch of claw.
Round like the pupil's watch
Rapidly expanding in the blaze
Of brainstorm.
Sketch inklings
of the space shuttle's spiral thrust
Through a collage of sunsets
whirling into dawn.
