Tacturnicity by Anne Selden [Annab]

Tacturnicity

This silly wooden floor
that I walk upon
erases every path I've drawn.
Never minds when I walk out.
Never minds if I'm about.
This silly wooden floor
that I walk upon,
plank by plank, like piano keys-
but my footsteps find no harmonies.
Plank by plank, this silly floor
is all I have, here, to explore
and warm flesh needs, at least, a little more.
