Floating by Anne Selden [Annab]

Floating

I go to the river
step through the snow,
footprints to the edge
where I let myself go.

Wind washes my face
plays in my hair
lifts my thoughts
I am everywhere.

Sipping strength,
my eyes drink...
Such euphoria fills me
on the river's brink.
