To Be A Sunset
I hope someday
to be a sunset...
A splendid spilling
of each incredible color
that's contained within light.
Caught by every cloud
every lake
every puddle.
I'll go down
with all the majesty
that I've absorbed
throughout my day.
All the beauty
that I've encouraged
with my warmth.
I hope someday
to be a sunset-
at twilight
along the river's edge.
